Modern Warfare 3, the next video game in the enormously popular Call of Duty franchise, is set for a Nov. 8, 2011 release.

"It doesn't take the most powerful nations on Earth to create the next global conflict, just the will of a single man," intones a brief spot of narration in the trailer. That conflagration kicks in the streets of New York, presumably following through on a Russian invasion that was imminent at the end of Modern Warfare 2. The action then moves to England, France, and Germany. Clips of crashing trains, tank battles, tumbling buildings, air strikes, amphibious assaults, and lots and lots of street fighting are interspersed throughout.  The eighth instalment in the Call of Duty series reportedly takes players to more than a dozen iconic locales around the globe.

What’s next for this gaming franchise?

After the adventure that was Uncharted 2, Nathan Drake has become the best, exciting and fun shooting/adventure/ puzzle game of this generation. Uncharted has pinched the relic-hunting crown from Lara Croft and left her with mud all over her face as she tries to catch up. It is no surprise that his next quest is something to look forward to.

In Drake’s Deception Nathan and Sullivan will be travelling around the world to such places as Rub’ al Khali desert, in search of the lost city, the Iram of the Pillars. Chloe and Elena both return in Uncharted 3 as the storyline follows the archaeological days of T.E. Lawrence. Nathan’s search for a lost 16thcentury treasure leads him to a shocking discovery that will push Nathan to the limits of his endurance and force him to confront his deepest fears.

Command & Conquer 4 is the conclusion of the Tiberium saga, but you would have to be more naive than the Trojan doorman wheeling in the horse to think this really means the end of C&C. Granted, a thing happens which suggests an end to the last 15 years (and 70 in-game years) of conflict between the GDI and the Brotherhood of Nod, and another thing is said which implies Kane is something more than human, but that's how C&C usually ends. - Eurogamer

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.

Dungeon Siege 3 is the third instalment of the popular roleplaying video game. The story returns to the Kingdom of Ehb where the previous two instalments were set. It is now about 150 years after the events of Dungeon Siege and the 10th Legion is almost completely destroyed. A meeting is called for the last remaining few and the game opens when the council is attacked. In the end the main storyline is about stopping pure evil from taking over the land, like most fantasy based games, movies, stories or books.

You can choose between four different characters and the story slightly differs for each of these. The characters are also later available as AI controlled companions via Multiplayer mode.

So, what evil will infest Ehb for the next release?

Visari, the leader of the Helghast is gone, but the war is far from over. Helghast forces have mounted a devastating counterattack, prompting the ISA (Interplanetary Strategic Alliance) evacuation of planet Helghan. As new Helghast battalions appear, armed with more powerful weapons, ISA forces find themselves outmanned, outgunned and surrounded. Players of Killzone 3 will need to learn more about their enemy and use new tools to continue the fight.

The gameplay strongly resembles that of Killzone 2 albeit with several tweaks and changes. Similar to the first Killzone, the game takes place in various harsh environments such as Arctic landscapes, a lethal alien jungle, nuclear wastelands as well as space battles rather than only the city-scape environments which were present in Killzone 2. Another notable new feature is the ability to use jet packs in the game, which were also used in Killzone: Liberation, however, these new jet packs will be used in a different manner than that of those in Killzone: Liberation. {Wikipedia}

Like any world, Sanctuary in this case, it is never safe from evil foes trying to take it over or destroying it completely. It has been 20 years since Diablo, Mephisto and Baal have had Sanctuary in their evil grip and just as the world was starting to recover new evil starts to wreak havoc on the world again and the heroes of Sanctuary (Wizards, Witch Doctors, Barbarians, Demon Hunters and Monks) are called to action once more.

Kratos has serious daddy issues. After being momentarily killed by his father, Zeus, at the beginning of God of War II, Kratos has spent every waking hour trying to return the favor. His quest for vengeance is unwavering. The majority of the cutscenes are centered on angry exchanges between Kratos and someone who dares oppose him, and end with an irreversible resolution. The motivation that pushes Kratos forward is easy to understand, but the repetition of his uncanny fury dulls the impact after a while. It's hard to relate to his actions after he gruesomely disposes of yet another mythical opponent with the same wicked scowl plastered on his face. For much of the game, the story hits just this one note.  - GameSpot

Now this has happen to me time and again, as soon as I want to blog about what would be cool in an upcoming came that I think doesn't exist, I find a hint that there is a new one in the making.  O well, still so cool that there is a God Of War IV coming in 2012.

If I had a say, and I do.  It would be a great concept making our deranged Kratos move between lost cities such as Atlantis.  Exploring each city with its unique element based power.

This was the first Lego game I played, apart from the real human interaction ones you get stuck up your nose at age 4.

I loved this game.  Not only was it brilliant begin able to fall of high placed and break into little peaces but the offline Multi-player function is also so cool.  It's always more fun killing plastic enemies with a co-opped friend.  And twice the viewing pleasure of someone falling from a great height into pieces.

Now we have seen tons of games incorporated into the Lego series, but I personally love the Ratchet & Clank series.  It would be super cool if they were made into a Lego series.

All I could find on the web was how to create your own Lego-Omni-Wrench.  Still pritty cool :p
