This is a cute little fantasy book for children by author Neil Gaiman. It follows the life of a young boy, Nobody Owens, who saw his parents get murdered and escaped by hiding in a graveyard. The inhabitants; ghosts, ghouls and other worldly beings are part of the boy’s day to day life. In the end justice is served and the murderer gets what he deserves and Nobody Owens sets of into the sunset to start his new ‘living’ life.

So, what happens next?

I’d like to believe that Nobody just went off and lived his life like all fairy tales end, happily ever after, but Nobody is no ordinary person. This leads me to believe that he won’t ever truly lose his ‘freedom of the graveyard’. I think that his ‘powers’ will come and go as he needs them. Who’s to say that the inhabitants of the graveyard won’t need him again? I’m certain he’ll be the first port of call and will happily set of on yet another adventure with his strange family.
